Business angel associations join forces at Investors Portugal to invest 150 million euros over three years

The Federation of Portuguese Business Angels (FNABA) and the Portuguese Association of Business Angels (APBA) have merged to form Investors Portugal, also known as APIES. This new association aims to strengthen support for early-stage startups and increase Portugal's venture capital influence. Investors Portugal plans to invest €150 million over three years, focusing on tech-driven companies with high growth potential. Currently, it supports 425 business angels and over 300 startups, with €500 million under management. The initiative seeks to make Portugal more competitive and innovation-driven.
